How to care for your print:
These offset limited edition prints have been printed on the finest museum quality neutral pH rag
paper. Each edition is numbered and singed by the artist. If cared for properly, your new print can
last for generations.
Proper matting of the print is extremely important. Your print is published on acid-free paper. It is
strongly recommended that all materials that come in contact with the print (front and back) possess a pH factor
of 7.s to 8.3. These materials include acid-free rag conservation board and acid-free hinges. By using 100% acid-free
conservation board, you can avoid damaging your print. (Acidic materials tend to burn the paper, causing
the print to turn brown or disintegrate.) Only acid-free hinges should be used to secure your print.
Additional print care includes hanging your print in a room where it will not be exposed to direct
sunlight or florescent lighting. Use of ultraviolet filtering Plexiglass (or 'conservation glass') filters out ultraviolet
rays that are harmful to the print. Humidity is another condition which can affect the quality of your
print. It is best to hang the print in a room with dry conditions. By taking your print to an experienced
picture framer, you can ask that your work be properly sealed to protect against atmospheric pollutants.
