"In this large oil, completed mostly on location, I was able to play with elements of paintings that excite me the most: late afternoon sunlight with its long shadows; the movement of air as a sky clears off; and the space I can suggest on the dimentional fleeting moments of the day's finality are washed over with varying degrees of darkness."
